Fire Department

The older website that Tehama County Fire Department (TCFD) had, was fine for in it’s day, but needed to be rebuilt to be mobile friendly and to include all the Battalions, Stations and CalFire Stations that are in their coverage area. In addition, the new TCFD site would provide detailed information for those looking to become volunteer firefighters, and quick links for the community to find resources on burning information, preparedness, and the Fire Marshall.

The TCFD is an all-risk combination fire department which protects a population of approximately 64,000 citizens, spanning an area of almost 3000 square miles. The TCFD has had a cooperative agreement with CAL FIRE since 1927 to manage and provide all-risk fire and emergency medical services to the unincorporated areas of Tehama County.

We built their new site on WordPress to be able to customize it and have better SEO capabilities for search results. We incorporated all their pictures from the various Battalions and stations, as well as Google Map links and other important resources they needed on the site.
